Atom™ processors from Intel^® further enhance the scalability of PC-based control technology. The smallest x86 CPU currently offered by Intel forms the centrepiece of the new C6915 control cabinet PC. It is now the most compact Beckhoff IPC, measuring only 48 x 164 x 116 mm (without mounting plate). Because of low processor power dissipation, Atom™-based controllers can be very compact and moderately priced.
